Standards and directives applied to Fangates® gates

Fangates® gates comply with the main European standards relating to the safety, design, and installation of automatic and manual gates:

EN 13241 — Safety requirements for gates intended for residential, commercial, and industrial use.  
EN 12453 — Safety in use of power-operated gates
EN ISO 12100 — Risk assessment and risk reduction
EN 1090-1 — Structural components in steel and aluminum

Certified materials and production processes

Fangates® gates are made with certified materials suitable for outdoor use.
We offer three different versions: Cold-Galvanized Steel (Classic Version), Stainless Steel, and Corten Steel.
Cold-galvanized steel guarantees high corrosion resistance and long-lasting durability.
Corten steel is characterized by a controlled surface oxidation that creates a natural protective patina.

Stainless steel is particularly recommended for environments exposed to harsher weather conditions or high salinity.
All materials undergo accurate processing, cutting, and finishing, as specified in the Fangates® technical documentation, ensuring a product that complies with the quality and robustness standards required for residential and professional installations.

Testing and operational verification

Before delivery, every Fangates® gate is fully assembled and undergoes factory testing. This procedure allows for the verification of the correct fan-like movement, the precision of the footprint, the smoothness of the mechanical parts, and the stability of the structure.

The test includes a complete opening and closing cycle to guarantee that the gate meets the declared performance standards and is ready for final installation.  Testing is a fundamental stage of the Fangates® production process, as it ensures that every product complies with the technical and quality standards defined by the project.
